Justin & Angela

Justin and Angela first met in Madrid in 1999. Despite growing up in the same local church, they never had a single conversation until attending the Discipleship Training School in Spain. They were married in 2002 and have been on an adventure with God ever since. They served as youth pastors for five years before answering the call do to full-time missions work in Spain in 2012. Both share a passion for missions, discipleship, and children’s ministries. They have currently led outreaches in over 12 countries.

Justin has a degree in Spanish and a Master’s in Ministry. He holds pastoral credentials with the Assemblies of God. Justin enjoys unicycling, juggling, magic tricks, and hiking.  Angela has a degree in Education and is passionate about teaching. Her hobbies include fitness, healthy cooking, and communicating. They have two children, Micah and Melody.

Our Beautiful City

A place to live and grow

Education.

Youth With A Mission is a global movement of Christians from many cultures, age groups, and Christian traditions, dedicated to serving Jesus throughout the world.

The Discipleship Training School (DTS) is a five-month training course in foundational Christian education, spiritual disciplines, and practical preparation for missions and ministry.

Geography.

The Tropical Coast of Spain includes three larger cities and numerous small towns.  We are pioneering a YWAM base in Almuñécar, which has about 27,000 year-round residents.

Because it is a beach town, the population triples in the months of July and August, when most Europeans have time off for vacations.  It is a beautiful place, with beaches, hiking, paragliding, and even snow skiing nearby.  It has a rich history of Roman and Phoenician rule and those ruins can still be seen today.

Ministry.

We have a heart for discipleship, investing in young leaders, and community development.  With the refugee crisis in Europe, much of our recent outreach has focused on bringing aid and relief to immigrants in need. This video was made last year and highlights some of that effort.
